Objective: Students will be able to identify subjects
and sentence models; complete research projects.

Class Activities
TURN ON COMPUTER

• Warm-up: Go to Quizlet

       - Play "Scatter" game (10 minutes)

       - Email your results to tholmes@irvingisd.net (directions will be provided for taking a screenshot of your results)
               ---Press the "PRNT SCRN" button on your key board
               ---Copy
               ---Paste it into a Writer document
               ---Save as: Group 1 Scatter
               ---Subject of email should be "4th Period"

• Nouns Packet: Numbers 4, 5, and 6
• Remediation: Subject and Sentence Models 1 & 2
• Essay Remediation: Pass out remediation grammar work. (Once this is complete, then you will turn it in to receive your essay. Then, you may remediate the essay.)
• Research Project:

- Finish all work related to sources, notes, and outline.

Homework:

2. LIBRARY VISIT ON Wednesday, Sept. 29!

   2. We will take an online tour of the Academy library site.
   
   
   3. Mrs. Willingham will visit our classes.
   
   
   4. You will watch book trailers online.
   
   
   5. You will make a list of 3-5 books you are interested in reading.
   
   
   6. We will go to the library and check out a book.
   
   
   7. Then you will begin reading your new library book in class.
   
   
   If you already have a book you want to read for class, bring it on Wednesday!
