- Get out one sheet of paper and begin writing a summary of your independent book reading
- Students will write a minimum of 10 sentences (complete with capitals and periods).
- Students will describe the protagonist and antagonist in their novel.

- Students will describe the conflicts that they see emerging in the storyline.
